McLadden’s Irish Publick House to open in Hampden Massachusetts

West Hartford, Connecticut -August 15, 2011 – McLadden Restaurant Group announced today that it will be opening a second McLadden’s Irish Publick House in Hampden Massachusetts. Building upon the success of its award winning traditional Irish pub in West Hartford Connecticut, the group will be bringing its unique brand of casual dining and pub atmosphere to the small town environment of Hampden. Construction and renovations have begun and an expected opening date of October 1, 2011 has been announced.  ”Hampden provides us with a a fantastic opportunity to take our organization to the next level,” stated Michael Ladden, president, McLadden Restaurant Group. ” It gives us a chance to bring a traditional Irish Pub model to Western Massachusetts. The timing for us could not have been better.” 

McLadden’s Irish Publick House in Hampden will feature a combination of traditional Irish dishes, casual American comfort food and all of the signature dishes and entrees that have become staples for the group in West Hartford CT. The Perfect Pour Tap System (TM) is currently being custom designed and installed  and dining customers can expect a wide selection of draught and bottle beers, single malt Scotch as well as wine and spirits. 

The location is on Main Street at the site of the former Blackhorse Tavern. Renovations include the bar, front dining rooms and outdoor patio areas.
